SEVENTEEN's Dino Charts Internationally with Picheolin Single 'Mi-cheo Mi-cheo'

SEVENTEEN’s Dino, performing under his alter ego Picheolin, has released “Mi-cheo Mi-cheo,” a single that blends retro Korean flavors with a modern pop sound. Out on July 22, the track quickly caught on internationally, entering iTunes “Top Songs” charts in markets including Japan, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka.
The song’s hook has been the main talking point—so catchy that some listeners jokingly flagged it as a track for exam-season students to avoid. Its momentum has been amplified by a wave of dance-challenge videos riffing on Picheolin’s distinctive styling, while the comedic music video follows a love-confident Picheolin thrown off by an unexpected romantic interest.
The single sets up Picheolin’s first mini-album, “GilBOARD,” due August 3. The seven-track record is led by the title song “Nora Bose (prod. Hitchhiker),” with Dino involved in producing every track and collaborating with names such as Hitchhiker and Deux’s Lee Hyun Do. Fans are anticipating more of the “K-retro kitsch” identity that has already drawn a global audience.
