NMIXX Returns with Strange Muse: “Birthday Wish” and Three Unit Tracks
A New Chapter in MIXXTOPIA
NMIXX released their sixth EP, Strange Muse, on October 19, 2026. The album explores the idea of becoming a source of inspiration for one another within the group's MIXXTOPIA universe.
Start with “Birthday Wish”
The title track blends moombahton, Afro-inspired sounds, and future house. Its driving rhythms give way to a more intimate piano-and-vocal break before the energy builds again. The EP also features “Kerosene” and “RudE TaLK”, two tracks performed by the full group.
Three Units, Three Different Vibes
LILY and HAEWON join forces on “Sing to the Moon”, with piano taking center stage. SULLYOON and BAE explore Latin-inspired sounds built around a dembow rhythm on “Hot ’n Unbothered”, while JIWOO and KYUJIN combine rap with fast-paced synths on “WHIP”.
Each unit track highlights a different side of the members and adds more variety to the EP's sound.
