Hanteo's weekly first-week chart for August 14 to 28 is out, and Stray Kids sit at number one with 3,289,269 copies. This is the first-week count, meaning sales inside each album's opening window rather than a running total.

THIS & THAT gave Stray Kids 3.29 million first-week copies. ENHYPEN's THE SIN : BLISS follows at 2,099,048, the second album on this chart to clear a million.

Together those two account for 92 percent of everything the top five sold. The five albums moved 5.84 million copies between them.
WayV take third with 245,594 for Vision Wings, a strong number that still sits at about one eighth of second place.

OURBIRTHDAY land fourth with 111,324 for Our Birthday, a notable figure for a group building its first audience. ARTMS close the top five with 92,160 for Hyper-Ego.

Hanteo's weekly album chart covering August 17 to 23 puts ENHYPEN first with 1,780,088 copies, ahead of OURBIRTHDAY at 111,224 and Stray Kids at 85,427.
The gap comes from the window. First-week counts a fixed stretch from release day, while the weekly chart counts one calendar week, so an album released earlier in the cycle shows a smaller number even when its total is larger.
One more detail worth knowing: that weekly chart ranks by Hanteo's album index, not by raw copies. CORTIS sold 30,080 of GREENGREEN against ONEWE's 25,704 and still placed one spot lower.
Start with where the record splits. First place and third place are separated by a factor of 13, which means this chart is measuring two different things at once.
That matters commercially because the physical album business now runs on two cost bases. A release aiming at millions is funding a label's year, while a release aiming at six figures is building a base and needs a completely different budget.
It also cuts against how these numbers usually get read. Raw first-week volume is treated as the headline, yet the weekly chart beside it ranks by index, so a title can outsell a rival and rank below it.
The limit is what a first-week window can tell you. It captures the opening surge and says little about how an album sells in month two, which is where a growing fandom actually shows up.
NEXT — Watch whether Vision Wings, Our Birthday and Hyper-Ego hold their positions on next week's album chart. First-week is one window; the second week is where a base becomes visible.
Every number on this chart started with one person deciding to buy one album. In South America, you can support your artist through Fanista.
