Two fandoms got what they asked for this year. Both requests ended as a truck on a Seoul street.
Chile took 1st place in Heart Race. Peru completed the Spotlight campaign. Neither one ended as a screenshot.

The winning petition closed at 3,007 likes against a target of 3,000. Seven votes of margin.

Six weeks separated the last like from the first lap around JYP. That is the entire distance between a board and a street.
The screen ran in Korean and Spanish: we're waiting for you in Chile.
Stray Kids Peru completed the Spotlight campaign, and the execution followed. The fanclub covered it themselves, day by day, from the sidewalk.

Day 1 — they posted the view from across the street: Todo fue gracias a STAY.
Day 2 — the screen carried the line the fandom had chosen: even though we are far apart, we are still building memories with you.
Day 3 — nobody could go out to film, so the photos came back from the team on the ground.
The next names are not hypothetical. The CORTIS fandom cleared the Silver Tier campaign and is waiting on an execution date.

Star Race 2 will select five teams. A Hongdae billboard in Seoul is already booked for ranks 1 through 5.
Which five fandoms fill those slots is the open part. That is the point of a board.
This is worth saying plainly, because it is the part people assume works the other way.
A campaign that misses its target does not close the door. The petition board stays open, the same fandom can run it again, and the second run counts exactly as much as the first.
Chile and Peru are what the end of that road looks like. CORTIS is standing at the start of it.
The claim "we will make it happen" is cheap. What makes it different here is that two of them already happened, in two countries, with photographs taken by the fandoms themselves.
Distance is the part that keeps surprising people. Chile and Peru are roughly 20,000 km from Seoul, and neither of them needed to be in the room.
The queue matters more than any single execution. A billboard is booked before the winners are known, which only works if the executions are real.
And the door does not shut. One attempt is not the whole story.
